As usual Zaltova came through with flying colors. I was nervous about getting a phone in anything less than Excellent condition, but this time around, a replacement phone was an unplanned event, so I risked it. Was I pleasantly surprised that you cannot see scratches unless you look closely, and the screen is perfect... I am ecstatic! My Apple Watch now works (reason for the replacement) and I'm receiving iOS updates again on my shiny "newish" phone! I always recommend Zaltova to my friends, and I will continue to do so! A big "Thank you!" to you guys... you did it again!

I was skeptical but I’m so happy I bought from Zaltova. I bought this phone in fair condition to use as a work phone and I’m thoroughly satisfied. The phone is in great condition besides a few tiny scratches on the screen (but that’s to be expected). The phone has 0 issues software-wise and the battery health seems good for how old the phone is. I would definitely purchase again. If you are having any doubts, let this be your sign! BTW, Zaltova, let us post videos for product reviews too!?

iPhone 12 Pro Max questions, answered

The iPhone 12 Pro Max remains a capable everyday smartphone in 2026. Its A14 Bionic chip handles core tasks comfortably, backed by a 6.7" Super Retina XDR OLED display, 5G (sub-6 GHz and mmWave on supported US models), a triple camera with sensor-shift OIS for still photos, LiDAR Scanner, and ProRAW support. It's also IP68 water resistant, rated to 6 meters for up to 30 minutes. One honest trade-off: it doesn't support Apple Intelligence, which requires an A17 Pro or newer. Starting from $327 refurbished, it's a meaningful step up from the iPhone 11 Pro Max at a significant saving over new.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 Pro share the same A14 Bionic chip, LiDAR Scanner, ProRAW, Face ID, 5G, and IP68 rating. The differences are meaningful:
Screen: 6.7" (Pro Max) vs. 6.1" (Pro)
Telephoto lens: 65mm, 2.5x optical zoom (Pro Max) vs. 52mm, 2x optical zoom (Pro)
Sensor-shift OIS: applied to still photos on the wide camera (Pro Max) vs. video only on the wide camera (Pro)
Battery: larger on the Pro Max
Not sure which model suits you? The guide to which iPhone is best for you can help narrow it down.
Sensor-shift OIS stabilizes images by moving the image sensor itself, rather than the lens barrel as conventional OIS does. Because the sensor is lighter than the lens assembly, corrections are more reactive and precise. It also compensates for camera roll (the subtle twist of the phone around its optical axis during a shot), something traditional lens-based OIS can't handle. Within the iPhone 12 lineup, sensor-shift OIS for still photos on the wide camera was exclusive to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Yes, every refurbished iPhone 12 Pro Max on Zaltova includes a 12-month commercial warranty and a 30-day free return window, no questions asked. Each device is professionally inspected on up to 100 points before it ships, and it arrives unlocked and compatible with all major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. That's the Zaltova Promise.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Here's how to choose:
128GB: A solid starting point for light users who stream most content rather than store it locally
256GB: The most versatile option for everyday apps, photos, and some local video, covering the needs of most users
512GB: The right pick for heavy camera users, especially ProRAW shooters, since those files are significantly larger than standard HEIF images
Zaltova is a dedicated marketplace for refurbished tech, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max is available directly on the platform. Every purchase includes:
Starting from $327, significantly below new retail
A 12-month commercial warranty
A 30-day return window: change your mind, no questions asked

Yes, the iPhone 12 Pro Max supports both 5G and MagSafe. It was part of the first iPhone generation to launch with 5G (October 2020), covering both sub-6 GHz and mmWave on supported US models. It's also fully MagSafe compatible, supporting up to 15W wireless charging with automatic magnet alignment for any MagSafe accessory. It remains backward compatible with standard Qi wireless charging too.
