I am profoundly grateful to have received my Samsung Galaxy A42 5G 128GB in Black, arriving in pristine condition—its screen unmarred, battery fully optimized, casing immaculate, and all ports, buttons, and camera lenses functioning flawlessly upon meticulous inspection. Zaltova’s exemplary customer support representatives, Anna and Kat, resolved every concern with unparalleled care and attentiveness, particularly as a disabled customer deserving of such tailored service. It is earnestly hoped that Zaltova will offer protective phone covers tailored for refurbished devices.

I was so anxious buying refurbished. There's plenty of horror stories online about getting refurbished phones in awful condition and then having to deal with customer support from hell. But I needed a new phone and didn't want to contribute to the over-consumption we see every day from so many people. I saw the S24+ as my best option for price while still having many good years left of security updates from Samsung. When I first received it, I was worried, as I ordered it unlocked, but it came in a official Verizon refurbished box. But thankfully when I turned it on, it was unlocked as I purchased. The quality is amazing, there's genuinely no sign of it being used except for a couple extremely miniscule scratches on the screen. The actual phone itself is so good at multitasking, I can have so many apps running in the background without it getting slow or stuttering. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely look to buy from here again.

3 days shipping from order placed to phone in hand, free at that. cant be beat. proves they act fast. my phone was ordered as fair however I cant find a scratch on it. the screen is in perfect condition. my moms response, "this phone cant be pre-owned". cant say this happens evenly time but im very happy. It came ready to start just like a brand new phone. Also came with a screen protector and an amazing C to C white charging cord that is probably the best cord I have owned, fits snug in everything ive tried receipt came with tracking info, had to wait 24 hrs for carrier to update info but they had it all ready for me to track. Service and Experience, on a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the best. Very easily an eleventeen!!! thank you Zaltova and Cellfeee

Great phone so far...!!! I was a bit nervous that it wouldn't be refurbished with Samsung oem parts because my last 2 phones were supposed to have all oem parts, but when they came the screen was aftermarket... but this is truly oem! So thanks so much! Also, I absolutely love the camera... so much better than my s22 ultra. Takes up more space, but it's definitely worth it... has pretty good performance, the GPU can't quite render the graphics perfect on highest grapgics settings on Xplane, but still decent... could does great, and RAM is approximately 55-65% used all the time...( I do have 3 background apps running all the time) but still works great!!!

I was very septic buying a refurbished phone. But reading reviews and good ratings and excellent price i wanted to try. Better than expected. Not a single scratch or anything showing it’s not brand new, except the box it came in. Not original packaging. All setup was smooth like on a new one. Only added a case. Very impressed and will use Zaltova again.

So, I traded my old device for this one. Once I read that the device is in "Good" condition, I expected scratches on the back opening the package. I was mistaken. The device looked damn near brand new. I was shocked actually. It functions perfectly! Getting use to the split screen keyboard was interesting lol. Lovely experience and swift delivery!

Second purchase from Zaltova. Had a Galaxy S22, dropped/broke the screen. Rather than fix the phone, decided to upgrade to Galaxy S25 Ultra. Both purchases have been great, received as promised, no working problems. Side note: only problem, Me. Week after receiving phone, no time to purchase phone case acct spouse in hospital, dropped phone at hospital, have a cracked screen but no problems with phone.

Refurbished Android Smartphone questions, answered

A refurbished Android phone is a device that has been professionally inspected, repaired where needed, cleaned, and tested to confirm it works as it should before being resold. At Zaltova, every phone passes a rigorous professional inspection and has to meet Zaltova's quality standards before it ships. You get the same hardware for less, not a broken phone with a discount slapped on it.
Compare current refurbished Android offers by model and configuration. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra starts from $105, the Google Pixel 8a from $67, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G from $45. Any savings comparison should use the reference price shown for the same selected configuration.
Most refurbished Android phones on Zaltova are fully unlocked Android phones, meaning they work with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most MVNOs. Each product page clearly states the carrier compatibility, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy. No carrier contracts, no bloatware, no restrictions.
The top refurbished Android phones on Zaltova right now, by use case:
Flagship option: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from $105. Compare current configurations and prices.
Camera option: compare current Google Pixel configurations and prices for Google's computational photography.
Affordable option: Samsung Galaxy S22 5G from $45. Compare available storage and condition.
Budget options: compare current Samsung Galaxy A-series models, configurations and prices.
Best for longevity: Google Pixel 8 and above. Seven years of Android OS updates guaranteed.
A refurbished Android phone lasts just as long as a new one when it has been properly inspected and restored. With normal use, a well-maintained flagship like a Samsung Galaxy S23 or Google Pixel 8 will typically last three to five years, or longer. For the best long-term bet, Google Pixel 8 and above come with seven years of guaranteed software updates from Google. Samsung Galaxy S-series phones receive four years of OS updates. When your phone arrives, our Android setup guide walks you through getting started in a few minutes.
Yes, by a significant margin. Choosing a refurbished Android smartphone instead of a new one avoids 77 kg of CO2 emissions (92% less than a new device), 178 grams of e-waste, and 77,000 liters of water in the manufacturing process. It also reduces raw material use by 243 kg per device. In 2025 alone, Zaltova helped avoid 460,000 tons of CO2e globally. Buying refurbished is one of the few tech upgrades where the planet genuinely comes out ahead.

Whether you're after a Samsung Galaxy S24+ from $98 or a Google Pixel 9 from $109, compare the available storage, condition and carrier options. Check each listing for unlocked or carrier-locked status and network compatibility. A 12-month commercial warranty and free 30-day returns come with every order.

Refurbished Android phones for sale on Zaltova range across every budget and use case. Budget-conscious? Start with a Motorola Moto G or a Samsung Galaxy A-series from under $100. Want flagship performance without the flagship price? The Galaxy S23 Ultra starts from $105. Check its available configurations for current prices. Not sure if Android is the right fit? Our iPhone vs Android guide breaks down both ecosystems.

Samsung Android phones

Samsung's Android lineup covers every need. The Galaxy S-series runs from the Galaxy S21 5G (from $44) up to the Galaxy S25 Ultra (from $132), with each generation adding camera upgrades and processing muscle. Compare current Galaxy A-series listings for more budget options. The Z Flip and Z Fold are here too, for anyone who wants a refurbished foldable phone at a fraction of its original price.

Google Pixel phones

Google Pixel phones run the cleanest version of Android you'll find anywhere. Check current Pixel 7 listings for available offers. The Pixel 8a, one of the best mid-range Android cameras out there, starts from $67. If you want long-term software support, Pixel 8 and above get guaranteed Android updates for seven years, which is unusually good for a smartphone.

Motorola Android phones

Motorola makes some of the best-value Android phones on the market. The Moto G Power (2025) starts from $33, with a battery that comfortably lasts two days. For anyone who just needs a reliable, no-fuss Android phone without spending much, Motorola is the honest answer.
