They sent me two, which I guess makes sense for $60 since support for the tablet is fully discontinued. One of them has a very good screen, the other had a bit of a deep scratch. They included a folio case for one of them. Both of them are already currently registered with Barnes & Noble. The disappointing thing was how grimy the backs were...I had to scrub with isopropyl alcohol to get rid of all the sticky brownish yellowish grime. I prefer purchasing from Zaltova because there usually hasn't been any grime so far, but that stopped being true. So, it would be 2-3 stars, but they tossed in enough free stuff that dealing with the grime on something that was supposed to be refurbished stung a bit less. I have not yet tested the SD slots on the devices.

Discover a new way of reading with a refurbished e-reader

It’s easy to get lost in a great book, but weighty paperbacks can be troublesome to take on the go with you. That’s where a refurbished e-reader can help transform your reading habits.

Enhanced comfort and big savings with a refurbished e-reader

Anyone who has one will tell you how transformational it is when you buy an e-reader. However, while they are incredibly practical and comfortable, the price can be discouraging. So what’s the best way to get your hands on one of these portable libraries for less? You might consider buying from an individual who no longer wants theirs, but a safer option is to buy a certified pre-owned e-reader from a reputable seller like Zaltova. We thoroughly test all devices to ensure perfect working order, and all cheap e-readers we sell come with the additional peace of mind of a 12-month minimum warranty.

How to choose your refurbished e-reader

Before buying a refurbished e-reader, here are some criteria you should consider:

Screen size: Most models are between 6 and 7.8 inches
Resolution: for comfortable reading, a minimum of 167dpi is recommended
Storage: from 4GB upwards, you'll be able to store about 3,000 books
Weight: choose from models weighing between 250g and 350g
Compatible reading formats: there are now more than a dozen, so you must make sure your e-reader accepts the main ones

In addition to its minimal size, a refurbished e-reader has the advantage of having a battery life of several weeks. Another important detail is that you’ll no longer need a bookmark thanks to your cheap e-reader, it will always know where you are! And books will cost around 20-30% less than the paper versions thanks to your refurbished e-reader, another bonus!

There are many benefits to investing in a refurbished e-reader, one of them being you’ll never have to be separated from your library again.
