Black Friday Tablet deals

Black Friday and Cyber Monday can be good times to compare tablet deals, though prices and availability vary by model, seller and timing. Refurbished tablets on Zaltova are often listed below the new-equivalent price year-round, and additional promotions from sellers may appear as Black Friday approaches on models such as the iPad 10th generation, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, and Lenovo Tab.

A refurbished tablet is a pre-owned device that's been professionally inspected, tested, cleaned and repaired where necessary before resale. Every tablet listed on Zaltova goes through an inspection of up to 100 checks, carried out by professional refurbishers who must comply with Zaltova's Quality Charter. Refurbished tablets are tested to be fully functional regardless of cosmetic condition.

It comes down to ecosystem and use case. iPads, including the iPad 9th gen, iPad 10th gen, iPad Air M2, and iPad Pro M4, run iPadOS. Browse Black Friday iPad deals to compare current options. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, S10, S10 FE, and Tab A9+ run Android with Samsung One UI, offering more customization, microSD expandability on compatible models, and S Pen support on many compatible S-series models; check the individual listing for exact compatibility.

All four grades are fully functional regardless of cosmetic appearance; the grade reflects cosmetic condition only.

• Premium: almost no signs of use, with a minimum 90% battery capacity, "like new"* appearance (*only for Premium items, see definition on Zaltova.com).

• Good: light signs of wear, micro-scratches invisible at 20 inches or more, no screen scratches.

• Fair: signs of wear, may have visible scratches and dents that don't affect performance, light scratches slightly visible when the screen is on.

Yes. According to Zaltova's calculations using the ADEME 2022 life-cycle assessment, choosing a refurbished tablet instead of a new equivalent can avoid approximately 65 kg of CO2e (88% fewer greenhouse-gas emissions), around 400 g of e-waste (83% less), and roughly 290 kg of raw materials (99% less) per device.
