The Shark SpeedStyle High-Velocity Hair Dryer is a compact, lightweight ionic blow dryer from SharkNinja built around the IQ Speed Styling & Drying Suite, and this configuration is bundled for straight and wavy hair with three IQ SpeedStyler attachments: the QuickSmooth Brush, which combines volumizing and smoothing boar bristles to dry, volumize and smooth in one pass; the Turbo Concentrator, which uses a hyper-concentrated, rotating air path for precise fast drying and styling; and the RapidGloss Finisher, which uses Coanda technology to attract and smooth frizz and flyaways for a high-gloss, salon-smooth finish with less frizz versus air-drying. At just 1.69 lbs it is described by Shark as the lightest leading digital hair dryer, so styling sessions are easier on your arms, and the dryer automatically recognizes each attachment and optimizes to the ideal temperature and airflow for that tool. It offers 4 heat settings and 3 airflow settings plus a cool shot, and it measures and regulates air temperature 1,000 times per second so it never exceeds 230°F and never approaches the hair-damaging temperature of 302°F, delivering fast wet-to-dry results with no heat damage. A removable filter at the base should be brushed clean regularly to maintain full airflow and performance.
